COMMUNITY CONCERTS
“MUSIC FOR JOY” concert series at the Harborside, Port Washington, NY.
Community Concerts are important community services. They bring joy and happiness to the Senior Community at the Harborside. It is significant and rewarding for young musicians to share their time, gifts, and talents with the Seniors. The concerts enrich the lives of all participants.
Awards: Concert Festival Certificate of Appreciation, Thank You Letter from the Harborside Legacy Foundation, Digital Video Recording, and Honorable Mention in the Program.
There will be a few concerts throughout the season.

WINTER / SPRING CONCERTS AWARDS
Grand Prix & First Prize Winners are awarded with the Certificate of Outstanding Achievement and performance at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
Second & Third Prize Winners are awarded with the Certificate of Excellent Achievement and performance at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center.
Certificate of Recognition.
Best Soloist Certificate.
Best Ensemble Certificate.
Grand Prix Medal.
Special Prize for the Youngest Performer.
Scholarships up to $1,500 toward the Summer Tour (June25 – July16, 2023)
Teacher’s Certificate of Appreciation, and Honorable Mention in the programs.
ELIGIBILITY
Pianists, Instrumentalists, Vocalists and Chamber Ensembles are welcome to apply.
Ages from 5 to 25 (Vocalists: 5 to 30).
There are multiple winners determined by the Jury Panel in different instrumental categories as well as age groups.
REPERTOIRE One or more selections of your choice from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Modern period performed from memory. Time limit 7 minutes.
No repeats. Ensembles may use music. Your own compositions and arrangements are welcome.
ACCOMPANIMENT
Live Concerts – Provide your own accompanist, or Concert Festival may provide an accompanist for additional fee.

Send us a file of your performance using any file sharing program (YouTube, iCloud, DropBox …)
Be advised that auditions are NOT a guarantee that a performance opportunity will be granted.
The decisions of the Jury Panel are final.
APPLICATION FEE
Solo Entry $200, Ensemble Entry $100 per member. Application Fee is non-refundable.
PERFORMANCE FEE (if selected)
Carnegie Hall – $450 includes 5 tickets (performer needs a ticket), 3 digital photos, Certificate of Outstanding Achievement
and Teacher’s Certificate.
Lincoln Center – $340 includes 4 tickets (performer does not need a ticket), 3 digital photos, Certificate of Excellent Achievement
and Teacher’s Certificate.
