Бесконечно благодарен устроителям Ньюйоркского концертного фестиваля.  В нем принимало участие 10 моих учеников. Я уверен, что для  юного музыканта нет более сильной мотивации его занятий, чем игра на публике.  Потому я, как и многие другие  преподаватели фортепиано, устраиваю каждые полгода  концерты своего класса. Но эти концерты не выходят за пределы Квинса  или Лонг Айлонда и проходят в основном в одних и тех же залах для при одной и той же публике. Нью Йоркский концертный  фестиваль подобен глотку свежего воздуха. Это первый выход части моего класса  за пределы коммюнити, эта первая попытка показать себя незнакомой публике в более пристижных залах Манхетона и первая попытка сравнить свои достижения с достижениями сверстников приехавших из разных уголков земли. Низкий поклон организаторам фестиваля за подаренные нашим детям  яркие впечатления; за особый глоток нового для многих из них, конкурсного воздуха; за усиление мотивации заниматься  музыкой более серьезно, а для кого-то и за выбор будующей специальности.

Dear Festival Organizers, It was a pleasure to participate in the recent Concert Festival. To that regard, I am writing on behalf of my daughter, Lana S., and family. It was an honor to take part in the audition and I would like to express my gratitude to you for providing a forum for all children to share their skill and talent with others.  As we know the children are very dedicated and hard-working and deserve this opportunity. I greatly appreciate your efforts to make this happen.

I wanted to congratulate you on a wonderful concert last night and express my sincerest thanks for the opportunity to be a part of it. I know this was an unforgettable night for Kira (one of many more to come, I hope). She was absolutely thrilled to be performing on a Carnegie stage. Thank you again for your hard work organizing this festival and showcasing our young talented performers.

When I entered the Concert Festival program I was not very excited about it – I thought that it would be too much work and too nerve racking. But, looking back, I am very happy that I took part in this event. Of course it was a lot of work, but all of it was worth the effort. Firstly, it was a very friendly environment and the team of organizers was always around to answer a question, direct you where to go, and cheer you up. The concert was truly a celebration of music in all its forms and I loved it. I am really looking forward to another chance to compete and play in this concert because it really is the chance of a lifetime.

Last night  I was lucky enough to watch my son perform at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall.  I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving him this wonderful opportunity, the evening was incredible.  The group of performers were some of the most musically talented people I have ever seen.  It was an experience my son will never forget and neither will I. Thank you!

Thank you so much for creating Concert Festival. The experience of playing in a show in New York City with other young children who share a passion for performing made a tremendous impact on our daughter, Alexandra. She cannot wait to learn her next classical piece so that she may audition again next year. She loves her certificate and she absolutely adores the huge teddy bear she received; she has even told us that she wants to be a famous pianist someday! The organization of the event we attended at Baruch Performing Arts Center was first rate.  It was truly a pleasure and an honor to watch  young  people perform classical pieces at such exceptional levels.
